I currently drive a 2022 Bronco Outer Banks.

My Yakama Holdup 2-Bike Hitch doesn't clear my Sasquatch spare tire when I go to open the back(with or without bike or folded or unfolded.).

Does anyone know if there is a hitch bike rack for 1 bike that will allow the door to still open
Thank you

I've been eyeing Swagman bike racks. Looks like they have a few models that might work

If you really like your bike rack, consider hooking it up to the Kuat Pivot v2 hitch extension.
It sets it out far enough that you won't hit your spare plus it swings it away from your rear gate when needed. A little price though.

I have a 1Up USA bike rack and purchased the Kuat Hi-Lo Pro Hitch Extension. Works great

Something like this would be cool if it would fit.

1up USA has some cool racks and I ran into this video (which is a bit long winded) but if you fast forward to 6:30 the gentlemen talks about custom ordering a "reverse" 1Up Rack to clear his tailgate/spare tire. Its basically their normal rack but upside down however with all the features of the normal operation but the body is flipped.

I recently purchased the Super Duty Rack with extension for a trip to Moab......really nice if you want ground clearance but limited opening of the tailgate. Still, once in Moab I took the rack off since I was there a week. I personally love how close to the back of the Bronco it keeps the bike along with the departure angle. Good luck with your search.

Here's another great option for anyone who has a 1up hitch rack and a tailgate reinforcement system. You can convert the 1up hitch rack to mount on your spare tire using this custom bracket developed by a user on bronco6g:

I had the same problem, the racrack etension would not reach far enough under the tire to engage the hitch. Purchased an extension, problem solved.

I have a KUAT NV on my Badlands Sasquatch, and even with an extension and with the tilt down option on the rack, I can’t open the rear door more than a foot or so. As much as I like the Bronco, the rear barn door is the one weak spot for me.

You need an extender to clear the spare. Dean is correct, below. The best extender is the Kuat Pivot2, which not only gives the perfect extension and height, but swings away so that you can open your rear gate. It should support most trailer hitch bike racks. Well worth the cost, I've had mine on for most of 2.5 years.
