I own a 2016 JKU Rubicon and a 2021 Bronco Badlands Sasquatch & I am a little surprised by Motor Trend’s analysis and conclusion.

Funny motortrend expert lol lol
Maybe jeep buy a lot of ads for them to write bias article like that.....

I went to moab and rent a jeep for the week....

Travel from salt lake city to moab ..... not a big fan of the jeep on highway loose stering, shitty interior design, etc.. Did trail all week in moab with the jeep...very bumpy ride ....

Finish my week with Bronco Rodeo wow I was so impress when i drive the bronco ....

The ride on the road to the trail much better with The bronco....

The interior desigh way better ....
wow riding the trail in high speed way more fun in the bronco much much much better then jeep....

For crawling very capable dome plateau have some good climb and it was very easy to do with the bronco and i could do every obstacle with no locker and the sway bar connected ...pretty easy..

With a brand new truck 50k i am not sure i want rock crawling trail more difficult then dome plateau at lease not for the first year ....becaue it brand new and expensive toy....

OVERHAUL for overlanding ... drive from home to trail and have fun in the trail ...... sorry jeep .... but bronco much better overhaul....

It why i question motortred article wtf....

Maybe motortred are not good driver...lol

Watch the video of Loren Healy do the Rubicon trail.... that say it all ... the bronco can do rubicon easy and he drive from home to the trail compare to is conterpart who bring is jeep on a trailer....lol

I like a lot more the bronco in every aspect....

Bronco will be my first choice ....othewise jeep my be consider for no2 choice.....

Having driven both, I would say there is quite a big difference in the way they handle on the freeway. Frankly above 55mph the Jeep scared me, I drove the Bronco at 60mph and above with reduced pressures in the tires (we didn't air up after the trail) and it was light years ahead of the Jeep. I do love that they noted they aired down to 30 psi for off roading. Either that was a typo, or they need to take another 20 psi out of the tires and try again.

30 PSI?!? Are these people idiots? It did make me question the entire article. I didn't realize the Bronco is 5 inches wider than the Jeep. That is kind of a problem on a lot of trails.

Heck the Sasquatch doesn’t even have mud terrain tires. They are maximum Traction tires M/Ts

Still narrower than most Jeeps on 37's and 40's....

I did off roadeo at Moab and we were at 20 psi on the tires. I remember because the TPS light was on the whole time.

Airing down to 30??? I air down to 10 or 11 PSI. Of course beadlocks are needed. Airing those MT 35s to 18 - 20 without beadlocks makes more sense to me.

Definitely sounded like the scales were tipped. Also how they act like rock crawling in tight trails is the only off road situation, maybe some dessert racing. No snow, mud or river crossings?

And how IFS is “comparable” to the Jeep’s solid axle? That would be the first I’ve heard anyone say that
