It's a comparison video between all of the in-house brands for the major automobile manufacturers, comparing them to Mobil 1—one of the most popular motor oils on the market.

Spoiler alert: Motorcraft came out on top.

LOL. I worked for Valvoline 16 years. Motor oil brands are more of an emotional purchase. As long as you purchase a brand oil with the API stamp, you're in good shape. If you change oil every 6 months or so (or 6-10K miles), semi-syn is the best option for saving $$$ over full syn. OIl filters, well, that's another story.

Thanks for posting the video. I decided with the Bronco to stick with genuine Motorcraft full synthetic oil and genuine Motorcraft oil filters. This video confirms that Motorcraft oil is a good choice.

Using the manufacturer's oil change products as one would get if paying for dealer servicing makes the most sense to me. It is the same practice I've followed on my 400K-mile BMW.
No salt tram towers were harmed in the making of this post...
