Modular Bumper

Excellent question. There are probably others in the same boat as you. Your dealership's parts department could probably help you get what you want, but there may be a delay since it is a constrained item. Still, it's fortunate in a way that you can utilize the factory fog lamps, although you may have to fashion a custom-made mounting bracket once you do acquire the modular bumper.

You can... yes.... someday... just not right now. ;) Most of the components are on backorder since Ford is sending the vast majority of the components to the assembly line.

Also worth noting that the bumper itself is not one single part... it is 2-3 dozen parts and once you add it all up costs around $3500.00 last I checked.

You definitely can. Like others said it might take a while though. The Ford accessory is great, but take a look at some of the other brands of bumpers too. As long as you’re not dead set on the Ford upgrade, you might be able to get a better quality bumper for a lower price. Just search on Google and you should be able to find a bunch of options now

I personally wouldn't order it directly from Ford. Many are selling them and you could save a lot of cash.
I would DM @Porkchop4464 and ask him about the swap. It doesn't sound as easy as you might think.

I've seen them for sale for as low as $400. I would go secondary market over ordering direct from Ford. One plus by having ordered the stock bumper is you are already wired for fogs.

yes it does

I just completed a swap of a plastic bumper on an OBX to a mod bumper. Not that bad but you will need help to get the bumper in place to screw it in. I did not cut off the hoops but instead, I swapped out the mounts as well. The sensors clips needed to be worked on a bit and I found the sensor/fog light harness to be almost too short.

I would think that you will definitely be able to find one from the BN members as some will be upgrading to a 3rd party bumper, making theirs available. Do a post on BN to see if anyone has one for sale...
