Wow has the market turned in last 4-6 months.

My local ( small town Ford dealer) has 2 Heritage Broncos, 1 Bronco Raptor , 1 Bronco Badlands, and 1 used Bronco Badlands all on the lot!
The 4 New 2024 models all selling for under MSRP. All of them have been on the lot for more than a month!

Crazy to think just 6 months ago all these models were pulling $15,000.00 to $40,000.00 over sticker price.

Thanks for update. Looks like most high dollar units are sitting on lots. Of course, the federal treasury borrowing a trillion $s every couple months that's driving our car loans up to 7 to 12%+ doesn't help.

Yeah, my guess is that this isn't gonna improve until the feds stop spending like drunken politicians..

Yep...what's that old saying...something about being patient. I would like to take with the guy that bought the Raptor and paid $30K over MSRP. He and his wife have a Youtube channel. Still think Forest has it correct.

My dealer has had them showing up on the lot too. I glad I didn't pay over MSRP and got what I want.
It is changes in the economy and supply chain. I have ordered some work trucks during the last 12 months and the long wait is dropping and more of them are starting to show up. I'm talking Freightliners and Mack. The problem is that when someone decides not to take delivery on one, it may not be spec'd correctly.
And last October when I ordered a F350 KR I was told expect a year. The wrong order was built in January (dealer mistake I think). The correct order was resubmitted in late February, the day the wrong truck was delivered to the dealer and it already has an April build date.

Any hardtops? The dealerships around here have supply of new and used but it's mostly all 4 door tarp tops. The 2 door and 4 door hardtops are few and far between especially new. The hardtops seem to be Raptors and HE which dealerships are still reaching with markups.

At this point, for most of us are looking at what our rigs will be worth long term. It is clear {so far} to me that low priced Squatch packages are going to retain a higher % of value over the long run...

Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

I agree for now. Once these are used in the true sense, traditionally, people looking for these types of vehicles don't see value in better stock/aftermarket suspension/wheels/tires ect. because they are looking to swap these all out to their own tastes anyway. Things that don't add a ton of value may still make a vehicle easier to sell in reality such as the aux switches and tow package (neither of which I have) because if things stay as they are they cost is far more to add after the fact and they are needlessly a PIA to add.

I'll throw my $0.02 in here.
I bought my Bronco used, because the cost of new is just outside my budget.
I probably could've bought a new Big Bend with no options.
But I wanted the things I wanted.
My must haves were 4 Door, SAS, Heated Seats, Remote Start & Heated Steering wheel (I know - I'm soft, but once you've had those for 5 winters, you won't go back).
To get those, I was pretty much locked into at least an OBX or better trim.
If I was ordering, I probably would've ordered a white, Hardtop.

What I ended up with is a 22 Wildtrak, SAS, 4 Door, Soft Top with the Lux Package.
The only option I really wish this had is the OEM modular bumper instead of the cheap plastic one.
But I'll end up getting an aftermarket winch capable bumper as soon as I find one I like.

Mine had 45k miles on it & I paid 46k for it.
I probably overpaid & may have bought 6 months too soon.
But I found something I knew I'd be happy with & jumped on it, because I hadn't seen anything else on the used market that matched what I wanted at that price.

After only 2 months, I can confidently say I plan to keep this vehicle for life if at all possible.
When it's paid off, it will likely graduate from daily to weekend vehicle to keep miles lower, but that will also let me open up the possibilities at that point - maybe it becomes more overland rig or I go for more extreme suspension components.
Until then, the plan is to keep the stock SAS suspension & stick to 35s for now.

I checked yesterday and my dealership has 8 new ones. Two are Raptors, four are WT and two BL. Plus a used BL. No mark up and are finally dealing on all of their stock. For the longest time they had no new vehicles and very few used ones of any kind.

Just rolled by the local dealership. They have 7 raptors, 20+ four doors all kinds mostly Squatched except one OBX and one Big bend, and mostly Hard tops. they have about a dozen 2 doors too and an Everglades on the show room with a $10k mark up.
the Raptors and the others on the lot were at MSRP.
And one used Blue 4 door I didn't look at.

Bottom line these are a truck, automobile, loose value the second they are delivered to you. SAS, no SAS, 1st one, Raptor, pink, yellow, blue. They will drop in value just like any other truck/automobile. I don't get it why folks think otherwise.

Here's the thing: buying any vehicle for investment or "future value" is just plain ludicrous. If your vehicle is worth a happy meal but you enjoy it and you get what you need from it that's a win. The vehicles that are valuable from the past is due to one or a combination of scarcity, a personal connection, status or trying to relive the past. Nobody thought of those vehicles as investments in anything beyond experiences. Alot of them were left to rot, jumped off hills or wrapped around telephone poles ect. There will be a million new Broncos that have been lovingly wrapped in plastic and stored away making them far from scarce. Even vehicles like the Raptors have such a high entry cost that appreciating in value is a long and unlikely path. Outliers such as Everglades and original anti-matter blue may bring some exception to values down the road but if any of these vehicles are seen as investments they won't be creating memories and there will be no connection for future buyers to rekindle.

When you think about it, since the 6 generation is only a few years old, and nothing on the used market until recently plus hard to get.
You have to know the price would come down and available new and used would go up.
You ever noticed how many used jeeps are out there?
If our resale can equal jeep, that would be nice.

Yeah I agree to an extent and glad I kept my two door antimatter Obx and have a heritage limited to keep for years to come, and I hope that it will be worth something some day with the low miles it’s got but maybe that was silly of me to buy:)
