I intend to own a Bronco with a Grumper when the zombie apocalypse starts.

In all seriousness, I’ve seen some of those types of grills the BL and WT have online for a bit cheaper than buying factory. Think they come without the letters so you just swap yours on. Might save you a couple hundred bucks. I’m with you, I have BB and want to change the grill also, but lower on priority list for me.

I was just talking to a couple of badlands owners that were wanting to trade grills with the OBX folks but no one wanted to trade. I am sure there are others, maybe start a trade your grill thread

TRying to think of some ideas for ther grill (adding strips or,ofcourse, lighting) to the gaping holes in the front of my vehicle…. Before I spend 450-500 on a BL or WT grill…

Any other OBX owner have any ideas?

Let the ideas marinate for awhile. Personally I like to try using creative lighting. If I had your grill here is what I'd do: get the Oracle back-lit letters (yellow if you have the base headlights, white if you have signature). Then, put some backlighting behind the grill using a different color. Maybe the backlight color could complement the vehicle color in some way. In this way you are using the large openings of your grill to a creative advantage. Another idea might be to paint the grill a specific color and backlight it in such a way that will make the color "pop". Anyway, just some ideas....

Thanks @Umichigan ! Good thoughts! I don’t tend to jump very fast on this stuff as I only like to do it once when I do make a change, but I really like the idea of accent lighting, and have been thinking about the ORacle lettering.
