My dealer told me where they mount the front license plates and recommended I buy one from Amazon to avoid drilling into the grill area of the Bronco. I found one for the modular bumper that uses the screws that already exist and it was made of steel, matching the bumper nicely! I also used my Ford Pass points to order the Bronco floor mats. I have Bronco Sport floor mats and they have held up nicely since 2021! I only paid $15.14 for the license plate frame and the mats are $205 from Ford. I only had to pay $39.92 out of pocket with my Ford Pass Points. I had 36,559 points from the purchase and oil changes. The Ford OEM Bronco mats are stock # M2DZ7813300AA if you want to buy them-these are the ones for the Wildtrak (carpeted floor).

The link for the license plate frame is:

That’s a good start on your license plate bracket. Now you have to bend it back a bit so it’s not protruding as much. Sleeker and more aero. I did and it’s 100% better looking. Especially the side view.

Depending on the state, you might have an issue if you bend the plate - could be considered disfiguring or an attempt to “hide” it.

Better to just not run one. :D

Required in Texas 😢

“Required” in Texas, is what I think you mean.

Back in 2017, I bought a car and the dealer said, “Your front plate is in the trunk.”

Despite the fact they were required, nobody ever had them installed.

Over the next several years, I noticed that almost nobody with a luxury car had a front plate in my state.

Again, they were required.

Went through a few different cars, never had front plates installed.

The only thing our local police noticed was a friendly wave from your’s truly.

We’re now in a different state, but I live near the border with a state where it isn’t required. Didn’t even bring my front plate when I traded in my 4Runner for my Bronco.

Like you, I see many high end vehicles without them. My luck would be to get ticketed for not having one.

Ha! Pretty sure a 5 degree bend in my bracket isn’t going to get me a warning or ticket. If I don’t run with a front plate in my state you’re asking for trouble.

Around here only “righteous” Tesla owners feel they are above the law…

Everyone who exceeds the speed limit is above the law.

Being creative with license plates is one of the things police nail sportbikes for.

Around DFW, lots of Mercedes and BMWs with no front license plate. I guess they are fine till they get pulled over and hit for whatever reason plus no front plate.
