Let’s see some mud!

I have a a few good ones I'll upload later. I am, however, amused at spiffy high-gloss mallcrawlers which (probably) never see dirt, sand, mud or get pinstriped--especially when they're tricked out with fancy bumpers, trail lights, deep-lug tires and all that. Once in a while I ask one of these characters, "So where do you go wheeling?" I usually get a blank look and, "Um..what?" My gear installer said, "90% of what I put on trucks never goes off-road."
OTOH, I asked one college-age guy in my neighborhood about it--he had serious rubber and an outboard high-step jack--and he recommended a few trails. One was perfect to give my new Badlands Sas its first rock-crawling adventure.
So we want to be careful about our assumptions!

I’m in the prairies, Newfoundland is awesome ! Nice to hear someone pumped for the east coast for a change !

We finally had some rain, days of slow soaking rain turning my road to a muddy mess. Here is just a little from the drive in this evening. Tomorrow and Friday will be worse I’ll get more pics then. It looks white but it is DS the flash washes it out.

It was fun until it was clean up time. $20 at the car wash spraying mud off. 😞 I'm sure the car wash owner/workers were not happy with all of the mud in the wash bay. 😬

Don't forget that all that mud you see on the outside will also collect under the bash panels/skid panels and may need some focus to be fully cleaned off.

Yup back in the day we used to park in the grass and run the sprinkler under the truck for about 30 minutes or so. It is amazing how much easier it is to get the mud off with low pressure that has been soaked as opposed to a pressure washer and dry mud.
