Let's See Your Underbody. Scratched? Dented? Aftermarket Protection?

Does it ever sound loud when you hit the underbody or your Bronco. How's your underbody? This isn't all of it just the current state. Thank goodness for aftermarket protection. All mine is Foutz except for the rock sliders which are RCI which have a small scratch (no pic provided) Looking to add a bit more Foutz protection in the near future.

Trailing arm

Rear diff

Front OEM skid. There are more scratches but started to rain.

OEM gas tank

Oil and entire 2nd skid behind OEM front skid. You can't really see it here but it is dented. You can see it a bit on the crease.

Rear shock

Every skid plate has a marks on it. This rig goes offroad and over dirt, rocks, and trees. Protected by RCI skid plates. I need to get some real rock sliders yet.

Love this thread! I'll have to crawl under mine and look but since I don't generally rock crawl, I assume not much damage. I do however have pinstriping galore, banged up wheels and other non underbody damage.

I've had people ask me in the past why do I intentionally damage a brand new vehicle. My response is always that it's not intentional and that I am just using the vehicle for it's intended purpose and for the reasons that I purchased it.

All mine here are when the bottom of my Bronco came in contact with the state of Utah. Its a stock badlands sasquatch

Foutz will be one of my stops in the next few weeks. I added the cross bar plates after I dinged it.

Utah is a formidable opponent for 4-wheel vehicles. I've left my mark on Moab (or did Moab leave its mark on my Bronco?) Outside of Moab, I've been pretty unscathed.

Not underbody damage but holy mother of pinstriping and scratches on my wheels.. This one has the least amount of scratches, dings and damage. The other 3 wheels are even worse. The spare is almost pristine though πŸ˜‚

Coming in contact with the State of Washington's forest shrubs, branches, sticks, twigs and whatever else I scaped up against..

These are a few of the tame trails where I could actually get out and take a photo. I went down numerous trails that were so tight I could not even get out due to the thick overgrowth.

I am weird but I enjoy the deep forest trails. They are a blast and you never really know what you are going to get. They can start wide and tame and then almost instantly become horror stories..

I was stuck on one narrow and seriously overgrown trail for about a mile and there was nothing I could do about it as there was nowhere to turn around and there were some serious off-camber washouts that prevented backing up.

I finally found a spot to do a 1,400 point turn -a-round but then had to go right back through the junk I had just came through..

Just glad I didn't get a flat as I could not even get out of the Bronco never mind try to fix a flat or swap for the spare. That could have been ugly..

T'was a blast! 😁
