Has anyone installed this system in their Bronco? This is not just the filter but the entire system. I am considering purchasing one but would like to know from someone who has one if it is worth it. Thank you very much!

I'm not being flip when I ask - what are you expecting to get out of adding it? You'd likely get as much "power gains" from adding a higher flow replacement filter in the OEM airbox. aFe is coming out with one by August.

That is why I am asking. I put a Volant cold air intake on my 4Runner and it did make a difference in power. Before I spend $500 on the K & N I just wanted to find out if it’s worth it.

It looks better than the roush kit. I wonder what the difference is depending on engine size.

If you plan on offroading a lot the OEM induction has the best seal. Just add a whipple vtop high flow blue air filter + a sprint booster throttle controller, both of which also won't void your warranty. See pics

You can buy a sprint booster from NT Auto for less than any other authorized dealer right here on bronco nation in link below. We have both SB and Whipple filter on our 2.3 MT BL and love it!! Plus SB comes with digital pedal lock security built into the device for added peace of mind when away from your bronco either on a long hike or late at night downtown.

Thank you for that information. I do have the K&N filter in place already. I was trying to find out if the entire system was worth purchasing.

To each their own, but none of the products like Sprint Booster actually ADD any power at all. These products aren't new. Bronco is 'drive by wire' like most every modern EFI vehicle. There is NO physical connection between the accelerator pedal and the throttle body on the engine. Driver presses the gas pedal, ECU receives the demand for more throttle. Referencing built in tables inside the computer /tuning / throttle map it gives a PERCENTAGE of the requested throttle opening based on a multitude of information from various sensors (speed, rpm, engine temp, gear ). This can also change based on the driving mode selected (Sport , ECO, normal etc). The Sprint Booster (and every other throttle booster like this) simple intercepts that signal and BOOSTS before it's received by the ECU. It's literally the same thing as pressing the pedal more. It makes it seem more sensitive and thus makes people think it has more power / pickup.

While the K&N "cold air" system has a dyno sheet that accompanies it (many of these things do) I'd be REALLY interested to see the differences in those dynos. Temp. Fuel type. (The 2.3 EB picks up a good bit of power simply running 93 octane - I've seen plenty of dynos in Mustangs where this has been thoroughly tested - hell the OEM power rating for the Bronco is based on 93 Octane).

I'm hoping Ford Performance releases a Bronco 2.3 tune. I don't want more HP at high RPM, I want some more power / torque UNDER the curves (lower to mid RPM) where I'll feel it and use it everyday when I drive it. Same reason I went with a Ford Performance tune on my '19 Mustang GT I just sold. I could have gotten more HP from an aftermarket tune, but I don't want more power at high RPMs I wanted more low end torque.

Thank you for that info. I have decided on going with just the K&N after market filter.

Thanks for your feedback. Yes Ford performance is working on a 2.3 tune. We're waiting on it too and looking forward to its launch. 93 octane (91 here in CA) also does help a lot with 15-25hp gains on the 2.3.

As for sprint booster. Just to be clear. We never said or advertised that sprint booster increases peak horsepower nor is increasing horsepower its purpose. See highlight section in attached NT marketing material. That is one of the reasons it doesn't void your factory warranty, along with the ability to turn it off after it has been installed and no trace if removed. Simple answer. Sprint booster improves the throttle response by removing gas pedal delay caused by drive by wire and improves turbo lag. The argument that you can just push the gas pedal down more is not the point. Its about the ability to feel the instant throttle response again like we "old timers" use to enjoy before 2005. Sprint booster works the best on 4 and 6 cyl turbo engines. Sprint booster compliments other mods that do increase peak horsepower whether its a tune or full exhaust. All of our bronco customers love how it works, check out their reviews in link above in our previous post. Sprint booster also cost less through NT Auto vs anywhere else and it beats all other throttle controller competitors, especially those that plug into the OBDII port, which ours doesn't. Oh and if you can find sprint booster advertised for less we will beat their price. Don't forget sprint booster has valet and pedal lock security features built into the device as well. If you haven't tried sprint booster yourself and you truly enjoy performance/driving, we invite you to take sprint booster for a test drive in your own bronco.

I re-attached our SBV3 link below for anyone interested in learning more (watch vids), reading other bronco owner reviews and even purchase one for your bronco using our sales link in the thread below:

Yup - why I don't post here much - all it seems to be is advertisements from sponsors who don't know how to resize pictures for people not using 60" monitors.

Im not sure "way off" is accurate. We are all discussing CAI and other performance products for bronco. One of those products we offer for sale here and it works well with factory air filter, aftermarket high flow air filter or full on CAI.

Going way off topic would be talking about the soft top, MGV, aftermarket lights or what we had for lunch lol ;)

If you're looking for better performance out of your bronco, we are simply trying to help other bronco owners achieve that mission without breaking the bank or voiding factory warranty.
