Took a hard hit this morning. Pretty sure it was a rock that flew off of a dump truck going the opposite direction. Unfortunately it was dark. As hard as it hit and as loud as it was I think any windshield would have ended up the same way. An inch higher and the wiper would have taken the hit.

Yikes! Sorry, man. For a moment, I thought by "club" you meant you got your windshield protected with film or had the ceramic treatment applied.

Bummer. The silver lining is that the damage and crack appear to be low on the shield, not compromising your view from the driver's seat. I hope your insurance facilitates your windshield replacement quickly and to your satisfaction.

Wow, that was a bad one. It looks like it might be done spreading. If so, I'd ignore it as long as possible rather than replace right away, since it looks like its out of your view. I broke mine pretty much a month after delivery, so I decided to put windshield film onto mine, I didn't want to deal with that again. Maybe windshields are quicker to get now, though, but it took me over a month to get a new windshield since they were having supply issues.

I'm thinking with the cold weather and using the defrost it's going to spread. I'm going to keep an eye on it.

No fun. Sorry that happened. Try installing this film on your next windshield. Might help and/or go full mad max (see pic)

Been there, done that.... 3 times so far.

Run out and get the Rain X windshield repair and slap it on there. Just needs sunlight to activate it... I'm guessing (and hoping) a rv light will work as well.

It won't hide it, but the (2) cracks I currently have in my windshield haven't moved any further since I put the repair on them and we've had plenty of nights with temps dropping into the 20's.
