I've been getting a lot of Jeep Waves moving around in my new Bronco. I'm really not sure what to do. I've been reciprocating but it just feels wrong.

Any else seeing/facing this?

I’ve been seeing the opposite,
I see them looking thru my mirrors, but they look away when they pull up aside. It’s happened much more than a wave.
I personally like all trail rigs.
I don’t take it as a “Jeep community thing”.
People are who they are.
Then again “Bronco” is special to me. I’m not too bothered if others could care less.

I'm see the same thing when side x side. I just get the wave when then we are passing in opposite directions.

The tell tale for me is,
“I live in Oklahoma “
Everybody waves at everybody.
So the purposeful “non glance” sticks out like a sore thumb.
I honestly don’t know if it’s an Envy/jealousy/Pi**ed off that the Bronco is back/can’t afford one/Brand loyalist , fortunately you won’t see as much of that on the trails.
It’s all guess work for me.
Broncos are back & many many more to come.
Also, generally a wave around here is a finger lift off of the steering wheel.

After driving my Jeep Wrangler a decade I could use a break from the wave now that I have the Bronco. There were so may jeeps that it became stressful not wanting to accidently miss a wave.

I think we should make it a thing to only flip each other the bird. Not in a mean way, but out of love. We can tell people that only Bronco owners get it and just confuse the F out of everyone

I had a Jeep Rubicon. Never got into the wave thing. I'm watching where I'm going.

I wouldn't put too much thought into it. Wave back if you want. Don't if you choose. Personally I don't initiate waves in my Gladiator. But I'll wave back if I see it. Spent many years on Harleys so I am beyond waved out.

I've been driving my 2dr Jeep wrangler as a daily driver for 33 years. One thing I've noticed is that 4 door Jeep owners [the unlimited crowd] rarely give the Jeep wave. I don't think they even understand. In fact, I'd make the assessment that most unlimited owners don't identify as being part of a Jeep tribe- they might as well be driving a prius. The jacked out overland unlimited drivers though.. yeah, they get it....anyway, my observations :ROFLMAO:

I stopped waving years ago in the Jeep. Won't start if I get my Bronco. It get's old.

I lived in Oklahoma, when I went back to visit from Ohio, I was like what the hell is everyone waving at me for??!!
Then I remember I’m on a 2 lane or dirt road in OK, ya’ll wave at folks

Someone in a bronco at an intersection, gave me a “hang 10” signal, I responded back in kind. But no, I don’t like that….

It’s fun, of course because you don’t see many. I waved like a crack head the 1st time I saw another bronco in the wild.

My wife has a Jeep and we both ride motorcycles so I'm a bit "waved" out as well. I did have another Bronco wave at me the other day and I waved back. What the hell, in these crazy times a simple wave is not a bad thing I guess. I don't think Broncos will ever get as common as Jeeps so thankfully we won't be developing carpal tunnel wave syndrome anytime soon!

Heck, it was probably a guy who owns a bronco and a wrangler, and just forgot which one he was driving at that moment.

I actively have to resist waving when Im in my regular car.

The gladiator tho... Oof I feel dirty when I wave at one of those.

I embarrassed myself the first time I saw a Bronco in person in a super market parking lot. The owner was getting out of it and I practically threw myself at them with questions, jealousy, and unrestrained fanboyism.
