Thats where Ford went off the rails, they dropped the cheap cars that got good economy in favor of gas guzzler SUVs. Then turn around and claim those gas guzzlers are why we have to buy real expensive electric cars.
They argue that sales dropped off on the sedans, but they didn't drop until they announced they were dropping them and the thing no one gets is that IF 300k sedans a year weren't enough, how do 25k SUVs fill the void? They don't.
The profit argument doesn't fly either, the sedans weren't as profitable as a 150 but they weren't losing money on them like they are on the evs.

Im here looking at classic land rovers with pre-emissions diesels, best of all worlds (Manual, soft top, tunable, rugged, durable, etc..)
