Interior lights now won't go on.... at all.

Did you maybe bump a switch in the overhead console?

my money is on the switch in the overhead consul I hit that switch by accident and had to go lightless for a few weeks before I figured it out.

I can't even hit that effing switch on purpose. 🤣🤣🤣

This is precisely what happened. My wife - this is her daily driver. Needed service so we traded... no light.

I hunted and hunted... hit every single button I could find. But his car is SO DARK... so I went into the garage, grabbed a flashlight and found this itty bitty little button. Hit it... all good.

Unreal. Fords 😒 Dude, here's a tip: Put all the light controls together.

If that isn’t annoying enough try adjusting the ambient lighting in the footwells. We turn it on and adjust the brightness. The next day it is off so we have to go through the steps to set it up again. I finally gave up on it, I couldn’t even tell you if they are on now or not. Don’t need it most of the time but when you do… that’s when I notice it.

Ford did not do well with interior lighting controls. The dash dimmer is an accident waiting to happen. The switches for the interior lights are a joke.

The ambient lighting switching itself off was a constant issue on my '23 Badlands but an update a few months ago apparently corrected it. They stay on at the brightness I select now.
