I want to improve interior lighting inside my 4 door. I'm wondering what others have tried, done, or fir helpful tips. If I'm going to add lights I'm hoping I can use existing wiring from the factory lights.

Thank you.

I added the hard top rear cargo light from Wild Horses (part # 6G-6225). Instead of using the socket plug (shown), I have hardwired to my axillary switch 6. It provides a lot of light in the rear area. Great if you are tailgating or camping and want light at night in the cargo area.

I found these interior lights from IAG Performance. The lights are currently out of stock and I'm patiently waiting to purchase.

IAG is coming out with an interior light kit. I don’t believe it's out yet but they might be taking pre-orders.

I have this Oracle Kit, first thing that I need to say is that I love Oracle Lighting, I really enjoy their products, in fact I have the mirror cover ditch lights on order. They have great customer service as well, if you have a question or an issue a real person answers the phone and helps you with your issue. However with this kit I feel, in my humble opinion, that they needed to R&D these a little bit more. I had these professionally installed by a company here in Myrtle Beach that specializes in all things Ford Bronco from Gen 1 to Gen 6. They restore and rebuild Broncos is excess of $200,000+. What comes out of their shop is ART! They were installing some other things for me and I asked them to put this kit in, easy peasy right?!

Nope, the first thing that you must do is trim around 7 feet of the original product to fit in the dash board, let me tell you what, that was simple but we found out that should you be off on your trimming by even a little bit then there is not enough of the edge to actually keep the fiber optic to stay tucked into the dash panel. We took our time and still was short in places. The 2nd problem that we ran into was at the side grab handles, especially the passenger side, the angle that the fiberoptic must run is very narrow and accounts for some very hard turns, then when the handle piece is placed back on it compresses the line so that the light can't travel thru the fiber optic. I called Oracle the following Monday and spoke to a great customer service guy who actually sent me pictures of their shop Bronco, while on the phone with me he took their handle off and sent me a picture of how they ran the line. Very helpful and great support but alas, it did not fix the issue. I would say that the top dashboard light is 4x brighter then the bottom light and we have tried re-running it bunched of times.

The wife and I have just decided to live with it as it is, however it is not as nice as the pictures or the install video that we must have watched about two dozen times at least.

But you do have around a gazillion different colors to pick from so that is really cool!

I requested an upgrade design from Diode Dynamics. They responded that it sounds like a good idea.
The Bronco really needs it. From a security standpoint I want the lights in there bright enough to get a tan.

Conversation with Oracles RnD were about the development and availability of a Cab seating area light system that would mount same area as the aftermarket grab handle bolt holes on role bar.

You can get the absolutely identical product (as you noticed from the trimming they didn't actually do anything to it) for a microfraction of the Oracle price. They just repackage. For the price they charge there's no excuse to not have it fit out of their box.

Does this look familiar?
