Yesterday I took my hard top off and installed my TrekTop fully-retractable soft top. The final step is to connect the rear window panel to the side window panels. When I connect one side, the other side simply wont stretch far enough to connect. Did I install something incorrectly? The dealer told me "I don't know what to say, those new tops are tight and need to be worn in."

Any tricks or strategies to help me get it connected? Suggestions are welcomed. :-)

Sit it out in the sun and let it warm up for hour or so. It will make it more pliable and stretchy. New tops are pretty tight TBH.

Thank you! Tomorrow is supposed to be 80 degrees and sunny... I'll try again tomorrow.

Can you attach some pics after it's done? I'd love to see how it looks.

Thank you all! I got the window connected. It just took myself and a friend to muscle it in place. :-)
