As of December 19, 2020, we have seen four “How To” videos that walk us through the following.
  • Modular Front Bumper End Section Removal
  • Roof Rail and Hard Top Removal
  • Windshield Cap and Cap Plate Install
  • Soft Top Removal
  • Door Removal
Based on these videos I have identified the need for the following tools.
  • Socket wrench
  • Cordless Power Drill
  • T30 TORX Socket
  • 1” and 3” Wrench Extenders
  • T30 TORX Bit
  • T50 TORX Bit or Socket
  • 13 mm Hex Socket
  • 13 mm Hex Bit
  • Bronco Key (Ford Provides)
  • Triangle Tool (Ford Provides)
Am I missing any tools?

Great list, thank you. It would be nice if Ford sold a Bronco tool kit with all the necessary tools. I'd gladly buy one.

As I compiled the list and took inventory of what I have, I discovered a mishmash. This was a good exercise for me since I want to “hit the ground running” once my Bronco arrives. It would be so sad to discover I am missing critical tools when I want to remove the roof or doors. Luckily, Amazon to the rescue, and the tools will be ready!

Although Filson is kind of pricey, I had been eyeing this tool roll thinking would be a cool way to start a kit for the new Bronc. Think I spied it in the rear area of Trail Concept Bronc as well.

Love that tool roll! I am afraid Santa would tell me I have been naughty and "No Filson For You"! However, Mrs. Santa convinced him to bring me an Atlas46 Gear Bag. I guess that is what the naughty guys get for Christmas. (I am getting a black one from what the Mrs. told me.)

@BuzzyBud needs a Santa Hat like one I saw, yesterday. It said “Naughty” on the front and “Nice” on the back. Turn the hat to share the wife’s mood...

Loving the roll bag. But this one might have room for a six pack of beer or bottle of Jack.

Yes, all good!
I have good luck with tool pouches within a tool bag. Planning to collect any bolts/nuts from a removed section of the Bronco so they do not get misplaced.
The pouches in the link below have served me well.

I would also throw in a larger lug wrench. the one that typically comes with the jack is pretty puny in most vehicles. You might also start thinking about what other vehicles you are going to ride around with and cary some stuff that fits them too. Just my $.02

Great idea and what I have used in my Big Bronc for years. Works great on deep dish style wheels that the factory lug wrench is useless on. (y)

I like to have a flashlight and or one of those headlights. Cell phone light is okay, till you drop it in a puddle.

One of those small jump-starters can be nice to have also, and a small air compressor.

If you don't want to spend a bunch of $ on a tool bag, I bought a decent one at Walmart that's black and blue, should match my new Bronco quite nicely.

I do like the Filson one, they had it in the back of the Trail Rig. It’s fit and finish is nice.

Agreed, can't go wrong with Filson as will last forever. Thought I saw that in the Trail Rig! (y)
