Has anyone put these on a 2024 wildtrak. I was putting them on today and ran into a problem. My bronco has fox shocks on it. They have a small cylinder in front of the large tall shock cylinder with the spring. When I put the bolts in to hold the skid plates on, they come really close to the small second cylinder. I am just wondering if they are gonna hit and where the shock out or if it’s OK. Does anyone have any information that might help?

thank you for your time and help

I dont have these on my truck (I have the mountains to metal ones), but the IAG wedbsite says they are compatible with HOSS 3. Looking at the design, it looks like they wouldn't knock into the shock reservoir because the bolts would keep it fairly locked down and prevent it from moving fore and aft. I would just torque everything up to spec, and then keep an eye on it, till you were comfortable.

That all said- the IAG folks are very responsive and were great to work with. It might be worth a call or an email if you are still concerned about the fit.

Shock skids are great addition. I like mine quite a bit- This was one of the spots my truck liked to drag.

Thanks Mal. I did write them no response so far. They are tight against the reservoir.

Hmm.

Are both sides flush against their reservoirs? if not, it could mean one set is off. I might try to see if I could get any adjustment out of the set up. The IAG kit looks to have slots for the mounting points for the side brackets. Could you loosen everything up and sort of tetris it around until you have more clearance? Maybe tilt the bracket down at the front end a little more? I might be comfortable with not a lot of clearance, so long as it wasn't riding against the shock reservoir.

The other thing you might think about is some kind of foam padding between the Shock and the plate. The Mountains to metal ones I put on had a piece of foam in there I guess to keep it from bouncing off the skid. If they are already touching, that might not work, but if you had some spacing, it might be an option.

These skids are more to protect the mounting points than the shocks at the end of the day though, so it might not have that much adjustment. I've been very happy with my fox shocks, but I think when its time to replace them, im going to use it as an excuse to go with some remote reservoir shocks. When you break something, its just the good Lord's way of saying time to upgrade right :)
