How was Sport Mode not standard on a Badlands??

Simple FORScan mod turned her from a cruiser into a bruiser, feel like Im using all 300 ponies now!

How many times have I made passes normal mode couldn't make, be it around the old man who thinks 50 is a nice suggestion as he does 35 or just cutting into traffic with a better opening?

Not even just that, just again, whole new girl, like between the kn filter, 93 and sport Mode, I'm curious what a tune, fmic/charge pipes and test pipe would be like.

Mileage might of taken a slight hit, but I was never concerned about that stuff to begin with, just blown away by the eagerness.

Just my rant, go get sport mode already if you haven’t!

Have you tried Baja and then mash the 2H button? That was my attempt at replicating Sport in the badlands. Curious if there is any similarity…

Betcha Ford left Sport mode out to differentiate between Badlands and Wildtrak.

From what I've personally experienced Sport mode and Baja mode are very similar—wouldn't surprise me if they are exactly the same minus the transfer case preset. BUT... I have a grand total of 25 miles in the seat of a Bronco, so might be some minor differences and I just couldn't tell with my limited seat time.

Who knows. For some reason Ford limits the number of modes across their fleet at 7. It makes sense they added rock crawl to the Badlands and FE with the standard armor and sway bar disconnect. However, maybe they dropped sport because it didn't align to a specific off-road driving condition (baja, sand, rock crawl, mud/ruts, slippery), so it didn't really contribute to it being a Bronco for all off road situations?

I've also heard that Baja+2H replicates Sport. I'll be curious your experience.

I'm guessing for @Speed Racer , the logical mode to have dropped would have been "Eco"!

My 2.3 3 pedal 4.7 is awesome in 2nd/3rd gear without sport. I do need to try Baja though.

I enabled it on my Badlands 2.3 L as well. Agree it should have been standard as one of the GOAT modes. Goes well with the Sprint Booster on my automatic.

3rd gear is my favorite, without a doubt! Big fan of the throttle controller, I went with the sprint booster, to dial in a bit more responsiveness.

I hope Sport mode on the Bronco is better than it is on my Ranger . The thing sounds like it is wound up all the time . I drive around town with the tow mode switch enabled which gives better shifts and is not so high strung , lol . Does the Bronco have a tow mode switch ?

I'm probably the guy doing 35 MPH in a 50 MPH zone. Lol!

Seriously though, I'm in no hurry to get anywhere. I do 5 MPH over the speed limit and call it good. I baby my vehicles off the line anymore -- my 0 to 60 times are probably 30 seconds. Lol! I see all of these people (even old women) taking off from stoplights like they have a toggle switch for a gas pedal, and I'm making a mental note to never buy a vehicle from them. Lol!

My guess is that Ford chose specific modes for each trim simply to get people to upgrade to the next trim level.
