How to compare lifted JK to Sasquatch?

I have a 4-door Rubicon with a 4” lift and 35” tires.
I’ve ordered a Badlands Sasquatch and want to know how they compare for body clearance, approach/departure angles etc. I’m hoping I don’t need to lift the Bronco to get similar clearances to the lifted Jeep.
The easiest would be to park them side by side and look, but I doubt there’s a Badlands Sasquatch within hundreds of miles of me in far northern CA.
Any suggestions?

Most all of that information is already on the forum. Plus, a few YouTube videos. A 4” lift with 35” tires should be pretty comparable to any 4-Door Bronco Sasquatch.

Thank you
I’ve done several searches on this forum and on YouTube and have not been able to find any comparable specs or discussion to compare a lofted Jeep to a Sasquatch. That’s not to say it’s not there, but I haven’t been able to find it.

The specs for the bronco are on the forum and theres a bunch of youtube videos that explain them. I do know(but cant remember the name of) a you tuber has compared the rubicon side by side. I dont think the jeep was lifted. Just have to look.

The Bronc Squatch specs are posted here and at 6G. Check out TFL Off-road for some good discussion around comparisons. Now that the Broncs are out and available to the media you will see additional reviews like this coming soon.

Yes, I’ve seen the YouTube comparisons and specs comparisons, but all I can find is the stock Rubicon, not a lifted Rubicon.
The spec comparisons are pretty close, with the stock Bronco Sasquatch having a slight edge over the stock Rubicon. So I’m assuming a 4” lifted Jeep on 35’s will have a significant advantage over a stock Bronco Sasquatch on 35’s.
in my Jeep group the princess Rubicon’s (stock) have a lot of trouble doing many of the trails we do, but the lifted Jeep’s generally do the trails without issue. There aren’t many princes Jeep’s in the club, for this reason. Most of the Rubicon’s I see in my town are lifted.
I’m hoping that I won’t have to lift the Bronco when I get it and still be able to do the trails that I do in my lifted Rubicon. So far, the lift options for the Bronco are pretty limited and it’s a totally different story lifting an IFS vs a solid axle.

Your kinda comparing apples to comquats here. Your talking about two different mods. You will need to look at the specs and decide if they will work out. Im sure that fords Bigfoot has better specs than your lifted rubicon, but theres no real comparison there.

I would think the Squatch Bronc and the lifted Rubicon on 35s would be very close as far as capability. I have seen no direct tests on this yet, however, I do believe Jeep has released the specs on the Rubicon Xtreme Recon package coming which might assist. I believe the TFL guys were talking about this in one of their Bronco vids which included comparisons.

Your best bet might be to take a tape measure, straight edge, and protractor out to your driveway and measure some specs to make your own comparison, unless the manufacturer of your lift publishes specs for that specific suspension modification.

Also, it helps to understand what lifting does, it only raised the suspension so you can have larger tires, the ground clearance on a “lifted” rubicon with 35” tires would be the same as a Bronco Sasquatch, approach and break over angles may be slightly different, I’m pretty certain a Bronco Badlands Sasquatch could go anywhere that a Rubicon with 35” tires could.

Just found this article that compares the nw Rubicon package with 35s, probably not a 4” lift. But gives you a rough idea, the Rubicon will have slightly better numbers, if it’s a concern, I would get the 4WP coil over a-arm lift with 37” tires

There is a lot off digging to find the info. Even for us BN old timers! Welcome to the nation!
