So, got my "scheduled for production" email and VIN. Production week isn't until March 27th, so I figured I'd start working on getting my private offer certificate number. Had my salesman check with the sales manager who claimed that there is no price protection certificate in the system for me. According to Ford's own website, I should qualify for a $2595 private offer. Placed an order for a four door outer banks on 12/8/21. Converted that order on 9/26/22 to a Heritage Edition. Spoke to Ford customer service a few months back and was told to call back once I had a VIN and that they would give me my certificate number. Called customer service today and they now tell me that they can't see anything and that it's the dealer's job to do the research and generate the certificate, at which time, Ford will be able to see it in the system. So, basically......."No one knows nothin'." Why did I ever think this was going to go smoothly? Who has received their private offer certificate number and how did you get it?

The dealer has to search your name, reservation, order numbers. Then it's in ford's system, don't hold me to the name ?Smart Vincent?.. its one of the systems Ford and dealers use to communicate. But anyways, I don't think it shows in the computer til after it's built. It's took my dealer about 10-15 mins to search it out. But then it was easy peasy... So u should be good.

@Mikes2021Bronco nailed it.

It's in a system called Smart Vincent—which we as customers don't have access to. Your dealer has to look it up with your name & zip code, or your email address. I believe the Ford customer service reps can also look it up, but I'm not sure what level of access they have.

It should be in the system now if your order has been COVP'd by the dealer. You don't have to wait for your vehicle to be built for it to appear. If for whatever reason you don't have a certificate, the customer service rep was correct—your dealer will have to contact their Ford reps to get it figured out. Ford's customer service doesn't have any ability to track it down for you. Missing certificates are usually caused by incorrect order information or lack of COVP approval. Usually it happens when someone moves between when they first ordered the vehicle and when their Bronco actually arrived. But it could be a simple typo.

Ok. Thanks. I have a build week and a VIN so it should be there. I just have to light a fire under my sale's manager's ass and get him to put in the effort. Nothing has changed in my personal info since my original order. I did switch from my original order of an outer banks to a Heritage Edition but that shouldn't affect it.

I called Ford customer service and asked them to look it up. They needed name and zip code for the order and were able to find it. I asked them to email me the info and I got it a few days later. It didn’t show the amount, but at least I had the certificate number ready when I got to the dealership.

I called Ford and had a few questions about my order shipping. It was built 11/23. After a little while... the person asked if I wanted the private offer certificate number and amount. Of course I said yes. So, try and find one of the Ford Bronco ordering/marketing numbers and ask about your private certificate number.
(I can't remember which number I called. It might have been 800-334-4375)

The number marchergirl referenced is correct. Just called and got my certificate number. My badlands was built 11/23 and I received notification it shipped on 1/17. Has not arrived yet but it could be any day now.

For the first time I feel like one of the lucky ones. My dealer did all the work I didn’t have to fight for anything. The dealer showed all the numbers and discount ( price protection ). I paid $46,460 for a 2023 badlands (total) out the door. Dealer said I can pick it up on the 28th of January. 😊
