HOSS 3.0 Success!

You all know about the HOSS 3.0. As soon as it was on Ford's build site, I wanted to change my order from a Badlands to a Wildtrak so I could have it. I went to the dealer the next day, he couldn't find any sign of it on his computer.
So I went back on the 8th to try it again after a call to Ford that confirmed it would be up and running. Still no deal that a.m. But got the call from the dealer that evening saying it was all good and that my order had gone through.
But of course Ford's site still said I want a Badlands. . . (not to mention "it's time to order" the Big Bend that already showed up)
This a.m., I got the email from Ford saying my order had been updated. whoohoo!

Dropping the tow package and leaving it pretty plain jane made my priority # a 10. So we'll see.

Congrats! If I didn’t have a VIN I would have done the exact same thing and switched my Badlands to a Wildtrak with HOSS 3.0. There are no mountains to climb in the plains states, but plenty of poorly maintained dirt roads!

Also interesting to see an email confirmation of an order change. I’ve never got any correspondence like that from Ford.

I Updated my Order to the Everglades on 3/09/22 and just received the confirmation email From Ford this Morning as well.

Bronco Nation 1100. Everglades, Desert Sand
Res: 7/30/20 ordered 1/22/21 reorder 10/15/21 changed to Everglades 3/9/22 schedule 8/29/22 bumped to 9/5; 9/7/22 blend, 9/9 Mods, 9/26/22 completed, 10/7 shipped, 11/3/22 delivery

I wish it did. But it looks better than the 99 I started out with in April lol

I had the HOSS 3.0 added to my WT order on Monday. I noticed the MSRP updated to the $49,475 to $51,225. I saw another thread here that said it was happening everywhere but the original MSRP would be honored. Anyone else have the MSRP change and what did your dealer tell you? I took a screen shot of the posting and sent it to my salesman. He said he was going to check with the Ford Rep and get back to me. No word yet.

I'm glad you got what you wanted, @EZAPAR. Now we just have to find other locals that have two-door versions of the other Bronco trim lines. We've got the Wildtrak and Badlands covered. ;)

Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

I don't think the system is reflecting the price protection from 2022.5 increases but my dealer confirmed and even wrote the price protection on my order slip and signed it.

Gotcha, never knew they did partial builds then put holds on them outside the chip issue

That's what I have also read/seen on here. If ALL parts are not available then no VIN or production hints why I was wondering if this is something new.

I don’t have a vin or build date email from Ford. A forum member who has inside access checked on it via sales code/order number. What they found is that it had been placed on a ”Parts Hold” at the factory. This could be chip, top or what ever else is in low/no supply. This being said they have not started the build and will not until they have all parts to complete, hence the “Parts Hold”.
