Hey all Darryl visited the Hoover dam today. We took the power plant tour and our tour guide was Mike who is a Bronco owner too. We did see a Blue Wildtrak at the “for authorized vehicles only” parking lot.
We also stopped by the Off roadeo gate too.

Nice pics, @Jakob1972. Even better that your guide drives a Bronco too! 😎

It was probably just me not paying enough attention, but in my walkabout to NYC & RI last week, I counted less than 20 Broncos (but a lot of Bronco Sports).

I went years ago but they weren't going tours at the time. Sucks I really wanted to go.

Your pics are awesome.

That's a cool trip for sure! Some of the BN staff got to stop there as we road tripped from Nevada Off-Roadeo to Overland Expo PNW a couple years back -- such a massive structure. Darryl's looking as amazing as ever!

Thanks, Darryl cleans up well. Yeah there was a vehicle with all kinds of cladding and camouflage in the Parking Garage at the Dam, the wheels looked like it was a Nissan SUV to me. It wasn’t something I was interested in so I didn’t pay much attention to it. It is a pretty popular place for sure.

Hoover Dam is an amazing feat of engineering and a testament to hard work and ingenuity. When I first toured in 1985 - water was in the spillway and we were able to get into some of the restricted areas (all pre-9/11) stuff and it was truly inspiring.

Went back in early 2021 and enjoyed the tour and the “new” visitor center 🤣 which of course was completed decades ago. Glad Darryl enjoyed the trip!
