Hoop steps

Really liked the look at under 400$
Question is I looked at Black diamond that didn't have from factory..asked dealer if they could add on for me..salesman said he would inquire with service department..texted me 20 minutes later and told me it's 4,000 dollars ..crazy
Besides the add on options aftermarket does anyone know how to get factory ones?
Another Ford dealer in Bronx told me if I bought an aftermarket tow hitch their service department could put it on for $185. I don't need to trailer anything..just for bike so doesn't need light
I don't know if that is correct also
Wondering if anyone else had these options done aftermarket

I'm confused by your post. You can add on a basic hitch with no wiring. The wiring has been problematic for after market.
For steps, do you have rock rails? I have a Black Diamond and added the IAG steps which look great and are removable.

Black Diamond/4-door/mid pkg/2.7/MIC/rack/towing/Eruption Green/res 7.13.20/ord 2.8.21, then 10.15.21/built 1.21.22/delivered 4.15.22

Gotcha, so just the side step hoops? The hitch part is what confused me. You can find a lot of aftermarket side steps with hoops. IAG also has new steps you can get without a full running board if you want that option.

Bad thing about the Ford hoop steps is they are not rock rails. They will not hold the weight of the vehicle. They are cheaper then buying the steps seperately from 3rd party folks. Are you sure he didn't fat finget the text when he said $4K?
