Has anyone noticed hood flutter on your Bronco? At speeds above 50 or so, the drivers side of my hood flutters some. I have opened and closed it and double checked the latch and attached hardware but find no obvious issues. Seems to latch closed properly and may be me just being OCD…. OBTW i let the OCD win and i counted the slots in the grill…80 if u were interested. 🤣 🐎

Hood is a thin aluminum body skin. It’s going to flutter and is normal.

Did you try to adjust the two rubber stops? I’ll bet one needs to be twisted out a bit.

I was going to suggest the adjustable rubber stops, but someone beat me to it. The Bronco I test drove had what you described and the hood didn't sit flush with the fenders, something my OCD picked up on right away. LOL

My OCD also made me count the grille openings on my Badlands. 100 even. Weird, I thought the only difference between the Badlands and Wildtrak grilles was one was gray and the other was black!
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

Mine does the same. As explained above. My TJ and JK did the same with the rubber tie downs. I had to purchased a stronger set for the JK. A couple times the hood would lift up and 1/8 to 1/4 inch. When trucks came head on a two lane highway I thought it was gone. The joys of owning an off road truck.

Another fix I was told is to put the hood louvers in your hood. It doesn't stop all together, but allows the wind/air to escape. I've been told.

I'm with @NiceBronco , I think it is a combination of the materials and different pressures coming through the grill based on speed, opening, grill shutters/open - closed. It is really noticeable out west where you can run legally at higher speeds.

Don’t go too far because your hood open alarm will be calling you!!! Ask me how I know….😞

While traveling south on Hwy 93 between Boulder City and Dolan springs had a head wind about 50 mph. The hood was jumping up and down about 1/2" on each side. Scared the crap out of me. Had an 86 Trans Am that the hood came open smashing the roof and shattering the windshield, very enlightening. My son that owns a body shop said his F450 with the aluminum hood does the same thing. He claims not to worry. Just not made the way they used to be. Jim.
