Just curious if anybody is aware of Ford having run out of hardtops just recently. Over on the bronco 6g forum someone who has a February 16 build date for a bronco raptor claims that their build is being held up because Ford is waiting on hardtops. Supposedly his production timeline has been stuck in the " production phase" since last week. I am waiting on a Bronco Raptor and I just noticed that My timeline has stalled in production almost exactly in the same timeline as his bronco raptor. Just curious if Ford could possibly have run out of Hard tops in the middle of production and if this is true ?
Thank You.

Most of what people say on b6g is empty conjecture. It’s possible his Bronco could be waiting for a rubber seal, an alignment pin, or some other minor part before the hard top can be completed. It wasn’t long ago that Ford ran out of blue oval badges. The idea that they “ran out of hard tops” isn’t consistent with how their supply chain likely works. They don’t get these in one finished piece from Webasto. Any single part that’s delayed in shipment could cause a holdup. They may also have plenty of parts, but be holding his order on lower priority or for some other reason.

Ok, thank you. I am not at all aware of how the production process works, but it just seems really odd that a company the size of ford would just run out of hardtops in the middle of production, although I will say his timeline is true because my bronco raptor has the same build date as his and now is sitting in " production phase " alot longer than my F 150 Raptor did.

They’re also starting to produce Ranger Raptors. That seems to be the new kid, so it’s probably competing with Bronco on scheduling. They also seem to be ramping up for a mid cycle refresh this calendar year, for next MY. There are countless reasons your builds could be held up. Unless Ford called you and told you “we’re out of hard tops”, I would take what was said on b6g with a grain of salt.
With that said, hard tops, lux equipment, and Sasquatch package mechanical components are known constraints. Anything is possible.

I don’t feel good about it, but thank you anyways.
