Hard top rear window strut separated from the glass

About a month ago, in the heat of Texas, I noticed the passenger side rear window strut detached from the glass. I took it in to the dealership and they ordered a new strut (which wasn't the problem). Dropped it off last night for repair, but they called today and said the need to order a new rear window, which will come with the struts already attached.

Anybody else have this issue?

I'll let you know how everything works out

Wow, seems like they could just re-glue it back on. I am assuming that is what happened. There has been several folks that had the rear window defrost leads separate from the glass. Dang What Part of Texas? Im in south Central TX and I know it was a nasty one this year, so far ours is still holding strong.

Here in North Texas and Sassy just survived the record-breaking Texas heat wave of 2023 and struts fully intact to rear window, no issues. Keep us posted.
