Hi all, just joined today and hopefully someone has some advice for me. I am a new Bronco owner and Ford customer. Since purchasing my BL, the driver side panel is extremely hard to pop up the side of the front right. All of the other sides open with ease. My husband has to punch it to get it open each time. Any advice on what to do? Can I lube it or just take it to the dealer to look at? Thanks in advance.

Welcome, and congrats on your Bronco!
Several owners here have had that issue and adjusted the latch; I'm sure they'll tell you how they did it once they see your post, and I hope that same fix works for you!

Hi there! If you send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info, I can look into your concerns on my end.

Giving Ford your VIN will do nothing for you. There are some members that will likely respond with their fixes. For me the first few times just required a little bit of wiggling before lifting. Others have actually needed to adjust the latch.

Welcome to the nation!
We had the stuck on drivers side top in the beginning. We had the roof rack so that made it more difficult. After we removed the rack it was easier. The pin that holds that part of the panel is mushroom shaped and the hole is elongated so you just have to move it to the right spot and it will come right off. I don’t know if we just got used to it or if it got easier. But it is not an issue now.

Yes, I found that out LOL.
I saw the wiggling method in one of the FB groups but still can’t get it off without the hubby punching on it. When you say adjust the latch, what exactly does that mean? Is the dealer adjusting or are you doing something yourself?

Thank you! I’ve learned so much from reading the threads on here!
No roof rack to worry about but saw that the hole really isn’t shaped for the pin. I’ll try wiggling again.

Honestly I'm not sure on the adjustment as I haven't done it. There are a number of folks on here that have done it and this community is full of great people eager to lend support. If you don't get a quick response here you could search the topic in the forums. If you add stuck to your post title you will likely be flooded with fixes and how-to's in very short order.

Ford provides a 12-month warranty period for vehicle adjustments. Just take it to the dealership.

Mine's a little snug and takes a slight bump sometimes. IMO a tight fit is better than the alternative.

My biggest issue so far is somewhere on one of them the seal isn't sealing 100% and I'm getting a nice little ppppppppffffffffffffffffffffffffff wind noise going down the road.

I’m getting that same type of noise. Just thought it was normal.

My drivers side sticks like crazy. Tried twisting , shifting to all angles and sometimes it just pops out. I may grease it a little or maybe give a little debuting to smooth the pin and socket.

I’ve been lifting the side and back and then twisting and it’s been working so I guess I’ll have to keep doing that. Annoying.

I agree, take it to the dealership. No need for trial and error on your new Bronco. I had some minor issues with my 2 door hardtop, brought it to the dealership and they replaced the top. FORD has experienced some issues during the release of the Gen6. With that being said, they are always in the mind set for continuous improvement. NO, I don't work for Ford! I just know that not everything is always perfect. If Ford ignores these issues I wouldn't be having the conversation, my Bronco would have been long gone. They have always been keeping an open mind about flaws that may surface and the desire to fix and improve any issues. I feel we as the Backbone to the Bronco Nation family need to speak up about Bronco issues. This will give Ford the opportunity to investigate each concern and hopefully...hopefully together we can get Ford to act on problems that they may be unaware of.
This is just my (2) cents!
Happy 4 wheeling!

Me to! I found that the rubber seal on the T-tops slide forward leaving up to a 2" separation from the hard top. If you point a flashlight at the gap you can see the light coming through. I stretched the rubber seals on both sides after marking them where they need to be. I added an adhesive. The drivers side is now sealed but the passenger side did not. I think the rubber is shrinking. I have not brought this up to Ford yet but will shortly when I get the time.
