Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

Me too. No rush to sell and I don't see that need in the near future, but good to know that the Bronco is at the top of the resale value list for 2024.

I know I come off as a curmudgeon when it comes to Ford, but holy hell do I love my Bronco. It is the most fun vehicle I’ve ever owned. I can’t wait to see where I can take it next. No sale.

If any of you know anything about me, you'd know I go through cars like, well, cars. LOL I'm VERY fickle, but the Bronco has changed all that for me.

I don't know if it was my 14-month wait to take possession or just the sheer joy I get driving it that seals the deal for me. I don't need too much encouragement to get behind the wheel. I make excuses to drive anywhere for any reason. This may be the first vehicle I actually pay off and NOT sell beforehand.

Well that sucks!
My plan is to keep it for 10 years or more. I guess I'll just have to miss out on having a #4 resale vehicle.

I could have posted this myself. I don’t hold on to vehicles very long. Even my second favorite vehicle (Jeep Wrangler JLU) I only owned for two years. I want to keep the Bronco for 10. I’m already making plans into 2025 and beyond as far as upgrades go.

2025 - New front bumper and Procal tune
2026 - New steering rack and suspension
2027 - Pay off crippling credit card debt. (J/K)

Bought the Bronco with every intention on keeping it for life. I still have an 04 F250 and my daily is an 08 Cobalt and we just replaced our 09 Suburban last year. Not like my Brother who has had 4 cars in the last 3 years one was a Basesquatch 4-door.

I'm the same exact way. Working at a dealer is fun and expensive because you always swap your cars lol. The Bronco is the first one ive kept for longer than a year and a half. I have a 2021 Badlands with 53k miles so far.

It helps that I work remotely so I keep my miles way down. 17,000 miles after 22 months. And that’s after to taking it to Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri a bunch of times. It should be easy to get to 10 years at my rate.

Same here, she's a keeper! Sassy to be my last ride into the sunset. Mr. Cooper (2006 Mini Sport w/143,000) is still road worthy and part of the family until he gives out. Not one for car swapping.

I had no intention of parting with my Badlands but when my wife got her eyes on the Heritage, it was game over for me.

The big question is - are they keeping their value due to scarcity or their true resale value.

The only time I think about selling our trading is when I see a new raptor and think...hmmm....
But after 23 months I only have 18k miles in it.
But in a month I'll drive from StL to Rochester, MN and the next week to Super Cel. I've circumnavigated Lake Michigan and driven all the way to Maine. I guess I love it.

Raptor was my Kryptonite as well! And, you need to do it because it’s totally different and so amazing!

I didn’t plan on getting rid of my Bronco until I brought my wife with me to pick up my Raptor and she fell in love with the dealer’s HEL so I traded in my Badlands and bought both. HWHL

I've always kept my vehicles for a long time (average 15 years). Plan is the Red Warthog is my last new vehicle purchase. Unless an awesome deal for a Braptor comes along....😁
