GOAT was taken from Land Rover, when Ford had an interest in Jaguar. Is it the same software?

This is what my Range Rover Sport 2013 Owners manual says on page 99 "Terrain response operations.General purpose/then grass/gravel/snow/ then mud-ruts/ then sand/then rock crawl.
Well my base Bronco doesn't come with manual rock crawl, but 10 speed auto, until 2022, I understand, unless you know someone at Ford. One reason I ordered 2022 is to try and get manual 6+1. Base don't have a rock crawl GOAT! Bummer! Thank you FORD for borrowing Terrain response from Land Rover, in exchange for building V8's in UK.

So, then don't get one since you obviously have nothing positive to say about a Bronco in basically every single one of your posts. I mean it's really that simple.

I try not to engage going down this rabbit hole. I would urge you to do the same. It may make your fingers cramp

It's for when someone is mowing their yard and the clippings get blown into the road. You don't want to lose traction and crash, like, you know, motorcycles.

Well you know, that's a way different driving condition than you know ruts because I heard there are certain motor and shock parameters needed for ruts than say mud or gravel.

Night in the Ruts. Not their best album but a great cover and somehow I feel spot on with this whole thing! Flip two letters and a whole new meaning!

No. Terrain Management was not “Taken” from Land Rover, Ford implemented it on the 2011 Explorer, same time that Land Rover and Jeep did.
The Explorer's makers have settled on four driving conditions for their Terrain Management system, which must be operated by the driver via a console-mounted switch to four conditions: Normal, Snow, Sand, and Mud/Ruts. The Explorer's four-wheel-drive system has no low-range for rock-crawling or bushwhacking.
The Brit Boulder Crawler

The Land Rover LR4's Terrain Response system (also on the Range Rover), has General Driving, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Sand, Mud/Ruts, and Rock Crawl settings.

Didn’t Ford own LR for awhile? Wasn’t some of the technology cross platform, shared……if my memory serves me correctly?! The previous Explorer had a clam shaped hood that was something Ford borrowed from LR. I thought there were several articles written about some of these design and technology sharing.

“26 March 2008, Ford announced that it had agreed to sell its Jaguar and Land Rover operations to Tata Motors”

so sold prior to the development of the Terrain Management System.
