Here’s a quick recap of my recent organizational enhancements to my BadSquatch.

Rear cargo net - Vertical orientation

I used a pair of picture hanging brackets and drilled out the holes a little and added them to the soft top hold down clip bolts then used a mini Nite Ize carabiner to attach the net to the bracket. On the bottom, the net is clipped to the existing hold downs

Element Fire Extinguisher

Mounted with a pair of magnetic clips on the rollbar. (I used clear UHMW tape on the bar before install to avoid any scratches)

I will mount a small shovel on the opposite side utilizing a pair of quick fists and mount them in the nutserts on the rollbar.

If down the road you want to fork over about $4000+ for a hardtop with rear wipers/defrost then the hookups are there

But he has a soft top, and already has 2 cables connected there, not to mention I have a hardtop and nothing is connected there. So I remain in the dark about what those hookups are for

Correct, you have the MIC and they are already connected to your MIC top, He has a soft top and that is where they are basically stored when not in use. If you remove your hardtop thats where you would place them versus just dangling around
