Frustrated new Bronco owner (2022 Bronco Outer Banks). Picked up vehicle 3 weeks ago, 2 days after it rains and we have a leak from the drivers side rear panel. Wait 5 days to get into the dealer for service (while keeping it out of the rain), get told it will require a part from Detroit, wait 5 more days, 2 days after part gets in, get told it still leaks and they are now going to "figure out what to do." Sad to have a brand new vehicle to only drive 2 days, 2+ weeks later and no idea how to fix....

Anyone else experience this?

I just my 22 a few days ago, picked it up from the dealer in the pouring rain. So far I haven’t seen anything but I really didn’t look, I probably should have

Hi there. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this for you.

So here's the rest/summary of story (as I have been told):
1. Rear driver side panel towards the back (above the frame) had a "warped" seal which caused the leak
2. After waiting 5 days for an appointment and then another 5 days to get a seal shipped from Detroit, then 2 days to install, the replacement seal did not fix the leak issue
3. Then I was told it would either be a 1 day emergency shipment or another 5 - 6 days to get all new replacement seals for the whole top. It was NOT a 1 day emergency shipment.
4. Did some further grumbling to the Service and Sale Managers.
5. Got a call back that they were going to swap the entire roof with a roof from a new vehicle they just received.
6. Picked up the vehicle - got talking with the actual technician who said "I can't believe now long (implying more than 5-6 days) they were going to make you wait for the seals, I made the suggestion to swap the roof out with a new vehicle)," He then spent 20 minutes explaining the roof removal and replacement process which was nice of him).
7. Medium amount of rain for next two days, no leaks...

I am happy for the fix (not happy with the initial process), thanks for a smart technician, I hope they get the original roof fixed fast for the owner of the Bronco that just arrived...

Glad it was finally resolved. Sucks it has to be this way with a new vehicle. I’ll be watching mine for leaks now too

Glad you got it worked out, unfortunately it is a problem we get with a vehicle with removable roof sections like this.
for me it could be months before my Bronco ever sees rain. We get about 32” of rain here each year so if I have the Bronco in the garage those three days I’ll never know if I have a leak.

Thanks for sharing... mine is on the way and I don't like hearing of roof leaks, but good to know about regardless!

All I can tell you is I picked mine up from the dealership in torrential rain (May 10?) Didn’t notice a single drop. MY22. So hopefully it’s resolved

Replacement top has held up through three nights of rains with no leaks. Now for those pesky drippings from the frame when opening the doors :)

i’m currently going through this issue myself..so frustrating to have a brand new car not even 2 months old and to have water leaks..right now it’s the passenger side door, and my dealer is saying they can’t promise they will be able to take a look at it for at least a week..issue is more rain projected on the way and i am leaving the country next week, worried for my baby, am i going to come back to a science experiment of mold and mildew from sitting water in the doorframe and floors..
