Since you brought it up, the mirror thing always seemed odd to me too. If you're driving without doors, you don't need side mirrors...and if you're driving without doors off road it's actually nice that the mirrors aren't in the way. It may be a legality thing, somewhere, I don't really know. I left the doors off my Jeep year round in California and was never stopped or questioned about not having side mirrors. Where I live now I know that there is no requirement for side mirrors, only that there be at least one rear facing mirror which is in the middle of the windshield. I always wondered about how hyped up it was that the Bronco had mirrors that stayed attached to the body, which is as much a detriment for someone that uses their 4x4 in the woods of the PNW; it's a pain in the *ss having them catch limbs and get scratched to hell.
So, the point of the frameless windows is so people with a four-door Bronco can drive around with their doors in the back. Hmmm, still with enough room for a cooler, fishing rods and beach chairs???
