I have heard the 2018 and more F-150 , 2.7, 10 speed auto has or has had issues with : not shifting, hesitate to shift ,
hard shifts ( Not in sport mode ) clunking in rear when it does shift, I hope Ford has that corrected ...

We are running that same 10speed in our 2019 Mustang GT. Zero issues there. Shifts great. Very quick.

My husband's daily driver is a 2019 F-150 with the 5.0 and the 10 speed auto and he hasn't had any issues with it at all. Actually it's a very impressive transmission(y)

My buddy has a 2018 Mustang GT with the ten speed. He drives it pretty hard. I have driven it an it shifts nice whether paddle shifting or not. Great transmission

Ford issued a reflash to take care of the problem IIRC. My wife's '18 Mustang 10 spd developed some funky shifts, my dealer did a reprogram, and it's been good ever since. The 10 spd in my '20 Ranger was great right out of the box.

Rented an F250 to tow a jeep to Moab a month back and it had the 10. We were very impressed with every aspect of the drive train. 1K miles each way, up and down through the Sierra and into the high desert. Made me excited for the same in a Bronco.

Yup the one I test drove did all that. Didn't buy the truck because of it.Shame because the truck was a cream puff non smoker with hardly any miles.Loaded XLT supercab 4X4 for $23,000 after the test drive I knew why it was traded.
