FordPass Reward Points – 20,000 Point Bonus

If you are like me, you are looking forward to taking delivery of your Bronco and receiving your 20,000-point bonus on top of your new vehicle 42,000 points. Keep in mind the points you earn typically expire within one year. 2020 has been an exception and the typical expiration period was put on hold. We do not yet know what Ford is planning for 2021.

Now we all remember Mike Levine terming the 20,000-point bonus as a token of good will for a challenging rollout. I think of it as the "Pain and Suffering Bonus" and I want to maximus the return. So here is my plan……

First off you need to know what one point is worth. It is worth one half of one cent. 20,000 points are equal to $100.00.

Although many dealers are indicating they do not yet have access to the accessories list, I have attached one just in case you do not have your own. Notice the last item on page #2. It is the Table for Swing Gate by Tuffy at a list price of $199.00. I like that and will ask my dealer to throw it in my Bronco in return for 20,000 point. I will mention how I see it as a small token of appreciation from the dealer for my buying a Bronco. I would not except to have it installed, but that is OK since I would enjoy installing it myself. From my perspective it is not worth a penny more and the dealer would insult me if he/she tries to extract more money from me. I am a real pushover, but you get the idea.

So, there you have it. Just one idea to consider.

I vaguely remember reading/hearing that the tailgate table won't work with the pull-out tailgate. So I'm going to wait for further information before I decide which way to go.

Good idea Buzzy, I plan on using my points toward something for the Bronc as well. I was thinking the Bimini Top but the table is another cool option. (y)

>2021 BRONCO FPP OFF-ROAD SUSPENSION KIT

Saw this in the accessories list posted above. Is there any info on what this entails?

I don't think we know for sure yet. This could be the 2" lift many have speculated about and what Ford used on the Cyber Orange 2 dr with 37s seen in many photos.

I just spoke with a Ford points rep, and she informed me that if you have service done with your dealer, your points don't expire. Currently, I have a ton of points in my Ford account that I don't want to lose.

I'm having a hell of a time getting my extra 20k points!
Ford says Dealer has to Process them to show up in my account.
An out-of-state Dealer I have been buying from says it's a Regional Program, and only my selling Dealer can access them?

I called Ford, and they said same thing. I will call the service department tomorrow to see if they can add them. My dealer said he has no clue how to get them.

Cool. I have trail armor and tube steps waiting at my dealer for the arrival of my Badlands. Will apply. Every little bit helps ;)

Yeah, my selling Dealer is clueless. I've been buying Accessories through Fairway Ford in Ohio. Nathan is great, processes my order while I'm on the phone, but just can't get access to the 20k.

That looks like the accessories list from some time ago. Wonder what has been added, or updated with prices, and availability? Agree, good use of all those points. Wonder when I will get my 2dr Badlands Sasquatch Lux Towing Bronco...?

Glad I saw this thread, I hadn't heard about the Ford bonus points for the Bronco.
