Ford Performance LED Light Bar - no back lighting by design

Last week, I picked up the LED light bar second hand. It was unused and at a great price. I noticed that the power wire had a 3rd (white) lead and the box indicated "back lighting", but the instructions were devoid of anything relating to this option. I then downloaded the OEM instructions from Rigid Lighting. Instructions are there to setup the backlighting, however bench testing failed to produce a back light. Before I disassembled the bar, I called Rigid customer service and they confirmed that the Ford Performance part was shipped without the back light capability due to liability concerns (red and blue lights). The power wire is the same, but it leads to nothing.

One big plus to the kit, it contains hardware for both mounting on factory rails and without rails.
