Is there a trick to get the Ford Pass App to activate your new Bronco? I have tried everything to a factory restore, etc...... I would like to use the auto starter functionality but cant bc it wont link my car with the app.

There should be an authorization code on the screen when you try and pair the two but, I think it also matters what trim you have Lux, etc (don't quote me on that part)

With my 2021 Base Model I just downloaded the App. on my phone and that was it. Auto Start instantly available.

I was inside my bronco when I activated it.
2021 Badlands, 4 door, 2.7L, Auto, LUX, SAS, Tow Package, MIC, Velocity Blue.

My dealer had me pull up the app when we were in the Bronco to show me everything.
Hi y'all, Lauri here and I am the proud owner of a MY21 Badlands, SAS, 2.7 auto, 4 door, soft top, Cactus Gray, no reservation, ordered 9/11/21, Took delivery 1/8/22!

I had the same issue.

What I had to do was turn the Bronco off, delete the Bronco saved on the app and re enter the information.

After the information was re entered on the app I was then able to restart the vehicle and the pairing came up.

This was the only way I was able to get it to promt on the Bronco again as there was no option to get it to manually prompt even though the app says it's pending.

Hmm weird. Once I removed it from the app and re entered the vin and submitted it sent a new handshake with the car.

The only other thing I can think that would mess it up would be if you have android auto or apple car play connect while it's trying and it skips over the handshake screen to connect to the Bluetooth.

I had this same issue. I tried to everything listed on Ford’s troubleshooting site to no avail: https://www.ford.com/support/how-to...tivation-pending-message-in-the-fordpass-app/

Four days after taking delivery I finally got it to work. The only thing I did differently on the day it worked was to use a phone that wasn’t connected to the sync system. It connected almost instantly when it did finally work. Good luck!

Are you holding the start button on the app for a few seconds, if not, the app will not start your vehicle.

Okay so I was chatting with tech support and they told me my modem hasn't been activated since Jan 4th. I only picked up my truck on Jan 8th. I was told it can only be reset by the dealership. Back to the dealership I go.
