Installed the above today. More noise on acceleration, but not bad at cruising speeds, be it xway or local roads. Didn't have to increase the volume on the radio. Will give a few weeks to see if I like it. If not will go back to the OEM. My wife will make the final decision.

I did the Flowmaster Outlaw Axle back and I love it. At first it was a little over powering but after a week or two it settled down (or I got use to it). Still roars on startup, sounds good on acceleration, once in top gears you can barely hear it.

Hey Bud how are you liking it and what was your decision? I am looking into the Flowmaster American Thunder right now and its at the top of my list for bolt on exhausts. Thx

I took it off after roughly 800 miles. Didn't care for the Xway noise at cruise speed. We were on the Xway a lot during the 800 miles. For now it sits in the garage. Had one bite on Facebook market, but no takers.
