Has anyone built a bracket for this Bronco.
I have the fabricating means available, just looking for ideas.
Blue ox has a bracket, but it replaces the tow recovery hooks, which I would like to keep.

I’ve got a spare base from blue ox, I had on the Area 51 2021 Bronco. Took it off when I sold it. My 2022 Bronco has the modular bumper , so I just changed the adapters on the tow bar, when I’m not towing I put the hooks on. Maybe you could weld your hooks to the spare adapters on the standard bumper. Once the base plate is attached to the frame the tow pins are a twist and lock system. That way when your not towing you can exchange them out in seconds.. hope the pictures help, I don’t have any pictures when hooked up , but only takes a few minutes to get ready.

You have hit on an area I have been trying to research @68 galaxie--are you saying you are using the HD Modular bumper without a Blue Ox baseplate and just changed the hookup point on the tow bar itself?

Love your Dutchy by the way--I'm still tooling around in our 2008 but am currently towing my 2021 F350--would like to set up the Bronco and if I can save some $$ doing so, all the better.

Yes just bought the adapters from blue ox. $265 seems like a lot for the adapters but works great. The bronc tows so easy and the hookup is easy .. this harness from cur wiring is so easy plug and play. If you already have a blue tow bar buy these adapters and they slide right over the modular hooks on the bumper / holes

I’ve got an extra set of the silver twist and lock pins That’s what I thought you could weld your tow hooks to or put a pin through it

Outstanding, gotta love an easy setup and thanks for that wiring set--I'll definitely check that out. I have been wishing for, and adding to my surveys for many years for a Ford factory "RV Flat Tow Package" that would be road ready with all wiring and hookups complete from the factory...

Yep I bought a seven way plug hook it straight to the Curt wiring harness and added an extra wire to the battery and one to the ground. So it charges the battery while I tow. Just have to wire it vehicle to vehicle and not vehicle to trailer

Roger that, sounds straight forward. How do you handle the safety cable hookup? I'm thinking going to frame is best but I may need a longer safety cable to achieve that.

The modular bumper has holes I just hook my safety cables to them. A standard bumper I add hooks #10,000 pounds. You are through bolting on the base mounts , lock tite on them I’m not worried about the plates coming off because the original plates are through bolted to the frame and so is the blue ox plates. If you look at the photos you can see the hooks next to the blue ox pins.the blue ox comes with extra cable but I don’t use them
