Went out yesterday with 4 other Bronco owners for a drive up to the snow (about 6400ft elevation) - the snow wasn't very deep, but it was perfect for having some fun. I did most of the trail in 2wd with traction control off, and channeled my inner Ken Block along the way. It was enough snow to have fun, but not enough to get in trouble... perfect!

Looks like fun to me. But I don’t know what I would do if we had that white stuff around here.

Do you have recommendations for " if needed " chains or snow socks for 35inch Wildtrak tires. Thanks

no - we've been out in some pretty deep stuff with the Broncos, and as long as you have a group that has a kinetic rope or two, soft shackles, a shovel, and maybe traction boards, you should be fine... maybe a winch for really out of bounds stuff .. .but I try to avoid getting into that. If you're in a situation that requires chains on aa Bronco with 35's, you shouldn't be out there LOL

We had our first major storm yesterday, well that's according to the weather folks, the night before. It snowed so hard that my driveway and side walk shoveled themselves. I guess they felt sorry for my old bones.

I can't wait until we get our first major snow. Have a number of local trails picked to go play on. Of course, according to the weather folks, we all will need to go to the store, hoard TP and other items, drive 15 MPH and stay in the left lane.

Merry Christmas!!
