Falken Wildpeak - Size / Load Rating Thoughts?

Well, it's time for the goodyear MTs to hit the dust. Good Riddance.

I've pretty much narrowed my choice down to a Falken Wildpeak A/T4W tire.
My biggest question at this point is which size I want.
The stock Sasquatch size of 315/70/R17 is a C-load rating & measures in at 34.7" Overall Diameter (unloaded)
Specs below

The 35x12.5xR17LT option is an E-load rating & measures in at 35.1"
Specs below

Right now, I'm leaning towards the 35x12.5xR17 tire, as I like the idea of the extra .4" of an inch & the stronger sidewall for impact/abrasion protection etc.
I'm worried about the E-load killing the ride quality for on road.
I like to run around 37-38 psi on-road for my daily driving, maybe a little higher for a road trip to help on fuel.

I'm just curious if anyone else is running these & has any experience or opinions good or bad.
I know @raqball was running the C-load Falkens & had good things to say...

Our WildTrak's riding Nokian studded snowtires this winter, but new treads are on our list next year. Right now, our short list has Falken Wildpeak's AT4W and BFG's K03.

Gotta luv AT4's toughtness, mileage warranty & price. K03 are tough meats too and with reduced weigh. Also over many years, we were very happy with BFGs on our Jeep, pickup and 4-Runner.

We'd probably go with the AT4 Load Range C you list above. That HD - E rated tire would work well if we were off-roading daily or at least weekly. Over the past 18 months we've done 20 adventures on Colorado and Moab trails. So we're close to a E level need, but this old man isn't intersted in lifting 110lb tire/wheels up to our seasonal tire storage in our garage's ceiling rack.

We really haven't made a final choice because BFG hasn't released price & specs on their D Load Range K03 scheduled some time in 2025.

I'll attach Falken's AT4W's specs

Cheers

lol, as my buddy said "ugh, everyone has BFG KOs". Yeah, there's a reason for that.

I considered the KO3, but ultimately I think I want to go with Falkens on this go round.
It may come down to availability & cost. I need to get them done before I set out to KOH at the end of January, so I'm not super pressed, but I do have a deadline.

Falkens were on my short list but since I have the tire warranty from Ford I am supposed to buy tires from them and they offer the OEM Goodyears and the KO2s in that size they gave me a price of $806.00 out the door for Goodyear replacements so I am going back with them at the next oil change. The Goodyears have treated us well and when they get some miles on them they don’t throw rocks as bad.

No question - $806 is a great price for 4 35" tires!!
