Experience with Ford Marine Grade Vinyl Seats

I did multiple searches with no luck. Only one thread came up for me which was from 2020 with some pre production pictures of the vinyl compared to leather. In addition, most of the discussion revolves around people's opinions of vinyl in other mediums and brands of cars. I'm hoping to get some current actual Ford Bronco user's experiences if possible.

One advantage to the leather is that the back seats have a cup holder on the 4 door, the vinyl doesn't if that matters to you.

I didn't get to see the MGV before I ordered. I'm very impressed with them. I've only had mine for 6 days. But, they feel and look like they should be durable. No cup holders in the back,, I have a 4 door. PS: The MGV is not the only thing that I'm loving about my Bronco

From what I have read from owners they are comfortable and durable. Especially against dog claws. But they do cause swamp ass in hotter climates. You get swamp ass with leather so there's that. Leather is the only other option with the Badlands. And with it you lose the washout floors.

I had a chance to see and feel the MGV seats last year when they had the Bronco road show at dealers. I was impressed with how they looked and felt. They actually feel like a combination of leather and neoprene. They are nothing like the vinyl seats from the 70's that would peel your skin off in the heat.

I spent ~5 hours at the Bronco Off-Rodeo and was very impressed with the look, feel and comfort of the MGV. It wasn't a hot or sunny day so can't comment on if they get too hot, but am happy with my choice.

Hey everyone! We have our Sasquatch Badlands on order and per our dealer we should be getting an email within the next month about build progress. He basically said any changes we want need to be made now or never. We chose the vinyl seats but I'm wondering how people's real world experience has been with them? They looked and felt great (from the short amount of time we spent checking them out) but wondering how any vinyl owners are feeling now. Any concerns or any regrets? Honestly any opinions would be great...good or bad. Pictures would be great also. Thanks!

it might be a little late by then but we will have our badlands with leather. The black bigamous with marine grade vinyl and our big bend with cloth. We will be doing a lot of comparisons on them. Interiors is one of them.

I really like them. Most people who have seen them think that they are leather. I like them as well as the leather seats in my 2020 F250

I absolutely love the MGV seats. Incredibly comfortable and easy to clean. I could not be happier with them.
