Hey there, fellow Bronco fans! As a huge Bronco fan, and like many of you, I'm always looking for ways to customize my ride. I have been asking myself lately how to add extra height to my Bronco without breaking the bank. After doing some research, I found some affordable ways to lift my 2023 2door Bronco that others might find useful:
  • Coil spacers: This is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to add extra height to your Bronco. It involves installing spacers on top of your existing coil springs to provide additional lift.
  • Body lift: Another affordable option is a body lift. This involves raising the body of your Bronco by a few inches without affecting its suspension system.
  • Suspension lift: Although a bit more expensive, a suspension lift can significantly boost your Bronco's height. This option involves replacing the existing suspension system with taller components, giving you better off-road capabilities and larger tires.
Here are some other lifting options that were not mentioned in the document:
  • Leveling kit: A leveling kit raises the front of your Bronco to level it with the rear. This is a popular option for those who want to add larger tires but don't want to lift the entire vehicle.
  • Long-arm lift: This more complex and expensive lift option involves replacing the entire suspension system with longer arms and shocks. It offers more clearance and articulation for off-road driving.
  • Shackle lift: This involves replacing the rear leaf spring shackles with longer ones to provide additional lift.
  • Add-a-leaf kit: This is a more affordable option for those wanting to add height to their vehicle. It involves adding an extra leaf to the existing leaf spring pack to provide additional lift.
  • Spacer lift: This involves adding spacers to the top of the existing suspension system to provide additional lift.
  • Drop bracket lift: This more complex lift option involves dropping the entire suspension system using specially designed brackets. It allows for larger tires and better off-road capabilities.
I'm curious to know which one is most popular among Bronco owners that is also low-cost. So, which lift option should I install on my 2023 Bronco base model? Let me know in the comments! If you own a Bronco in Austin, let's connect! Share your insights on lift kits, recommend local shops, and maybe even meet up to off-road or chill and chat about all things Bronco.

I’m willing to take the heat. There are lots of RC haters out there. My local dealer’s performance shop guy recommended the RC 2 inch lift. He told me whatever they installed would not void the warranty. Here is what I had installed and I have been very happy both on and off road.

If I had it to do over again, I would spend the extra and installed these.

Check with your dealer and see if they install will it protect your warranty.

Also keep in mind the 6 Gen does not utilize leaf springs. But the age old argument with the 6 Gen is what is the best lift that will not change the steering geometry enough to break things like tie rods, steering rack and so on. The one lift that interests me is to add Portals these would give you about 4” of lift and not change the geometry, but unfortunately my numbers did not hit so I don’t have the extra $1.5 billion to play with.

Small body lift won’t break the bank or break your Bronco unlike many of the other lifts.

Less that 1500$, get the 1.5inch or 3inch body lift from broncobusterstx. Com and the lift inserts. I have 3 inch lift running 37" tires. No problems out east to west 3 times. Best bang for buck

So what did you do to fill the gap between the body and bumper? Did you get the bumper relocation brackets? Thought about going this route but they couldn’t tell me for sure if it would work on an Everglades. I might have to take Darryl over ther and have them look at it. BroncBuster is about 20 minutes down the road from me.

I found some Sasquatch suspension take offs online for CHEAP. I cleaned them up and put another layer of Bilstein yellow paint on them for good measure and got it realigned. Gave me a little over 3 inches up front and about 2 1/2 in the rear. If probably settled a little bit after the alignment. Currently only running the 33" BFG'S. Think it looks great and doesn't affect mileage much. Rides nice too. Worth looking for a set. Including alignment at the dealership, I'm out $320.... Your results may vary.
