This past Saturday, my buddy (who owns a JLU on 40's) took some members of his Jeep group, along with some members of Gold Country Broncos and I - and we did a group drive up to Bowman Lake. We also hit Faucherie Lake and took a detour to go a bit higher in elevation, but at 6600 feet, we ran into snow that was too much to attempt, and knowing that the trail would continue to climb to about 7200 feet, we knew it was a no-go. But, we had a beautiful drive, and everyone had a great time. Proof that Jeeps and Broncos can coexist :)

I just want to thank you Mark for posting about the ability to coexist. After some of the posts lately I have been discouraged. Great photos and video, like always!🦶🏻🦶🏻🦶🏻🦶🏻🦶🏻

Wow… Tahoe National Forest is looking super healthy compared to the past few times I visited. I guess the snow pack really was good this year.

Looks like an awesome trip!

I agree, "some of my best friends own Jeeps"! I don't mind a friendly rivalry. It's when people get nasty that I have an issue.

Great video, Mark (Sheesh, I sound like a broken record)! But truth be told, you don't shoot anything poorly. You never just phone it in. It was cool that you included footage taken by the Jeep-driving participants. This joint venture proves that the two camps (or more) can coexist peacefully. Even better, they can push each other further. Competition has its advantages. ;)

And I LOVE the drone footage! I am sure a drone is going to move further up on my list of things to get within the next year.
Chris here. I drive a Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

Wow. On my bucket list now.

Meh, Jeeps? Broncos? I had to sell my beloved Jeep to move on to the Bronco. I loved my Toyota before that. Everybody hated on the Subarus I wheeled before that. lol
Got lockers and some common sense? Let's wheel.

I am not the leader. I just like to go first.

Sweet subie!!! Yea, our Bronco group is really big on maintaining a positive, inclusive group - Bronco Sports, Base model Broncos, Jeeps, Toyotas, whatever - let's get out, enjoy nature, take care of the trails, practice good trail etiquette and have fun!!
