Hey Bronco Nation! I posted in a different area with little reply/info. Figured I would repost here. I’m eagerly waiting for my Bronco like many. My bronco should be build mid November, or so I am told. Question. When reviewing the door storage in the truck space, it seems that all videos show the top fully removed. Can the doors be stored in the back with the soft top fully opened and kept on the back of the Bronco?

Yes, given you ordered the storage bags otherwise you will have to figure out a tie-down system for them

Hate to burst your bubble but you'll have to wait for an AM to come out with something. The onboard storage bags had to be ordered with your order. The only ones available from Ford Accesorries are for sitting in the garage and not the on-board with the builtin tie-downs

Worth a try to call the dealer ASAP and see if it can be added. Chances are slim since you have a VIN and build date but might as well give it a shot. Nothing to lose

God, this gives me a sharp, stabbing pain behind my eye. What is the reasoning for this? If they can take them off of the shelf and unceremoniously throw them in the back of a Bronco, why can't they take them off the shelf and unceremoniously throw them over the parts counter for you?

The only door bags available on the B&P that come with the harness also come with a hard top bag. Which I don't need, because Ford can't get its s**t together, so I ordered a soft top. Oh...and in little tiny print, it also mentions that you only get the harness if you order the 4 door. The 2 door doesn't get a harness for some reason. Such unnecessary complication!

Truth there! I guess it's pretty hard to grab them and send them to a dealer versus toss in the back

Good luck! People are successfully adding the bags after receiving a VIN.

Really no reason they shouldn't, can pretty much guarantee its one of the last "tossed" in parts of the order build so seems like be easy

Yep, they're tossed in the back when it's on the assembly line

I'm assuming it's not offered as an accessory package because they haven't nailed down the outrageous price yet

Well, at least there’s hope. If not, then I’ll have to go doors on for a while it seems. Appreciate all the feedback.
