Does the key fob have a mechanical entry key?

I won't have mine for a while so I don't have one to play with otherwise I might know the answer.

Does the key fob contain a cut key for when the key fob battery is dead?

Yup. You cant really tell looking at the Fob but there's a small button near the keyring and it allows the key itself to slide out

Yes it has a cut key but you can also place a dead FOB in the bottom of the center console and it will still crank the vehicle .

That key fob is going to be the biggest car key I ever had. I wish there was a smaller more minimalist version!

It has good range at least . I remote started my Ford Ranger from inside Home Depot and was parked at far end opposite the checkouts :)
