My driveway is only wide enough for one car, so my three vehicles park single file down a line… with my Focus farthest back, Bronco in the middle, and the wife’s Escape closest to the road so it’s easier for her to get out.

Well I was driving the Focus today, and got a little too over confident in my Focus off-roading-on-the-lawn abilities as I tried to park it in front of the Bronco.

Lightly grazed the bumper on the Bronco and put a nice crease down the side of my Focus. Yay… go me. 😒

Steel bumper held up really well though, so that’s a bonus.

Plan it is to say the scuff on the Bronco bumper was due to off-roading. 😉

Which... technically not a lie. I was just "off-roading" the Focus... not the Bronco.

Your driveway is "off-road," isn't it?

Well you can use the same answer if someone asks about either vehicle.
Oh that, I did that while doing some off roading.

I have an off road driveway too. It is a 1/2 mile long un-maintained dirt road.

Rubbin is racin....

When my oldest was 4 years old a young lady T-boned my wife’s Suburban. It was a relatively slow accident the speed limit is only 35 mph. When I got there my son looks at me and says “I think we were racing” I said what do you mean he says “yeah, Rubbin is racin”

Bummer, dude. Hire a lawyer and sue the driver. You may get a good settlement with the insurance company. 😁
Chris here. I drive a 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and automatic transmission. Happy to not require cult deprogramming.

While that seems funny, it would indeed be covered…

Sorry to hear @RagnarKon but I think that will buff right out…

Getting serious: we joke, "It'll buff out," but how serious a scratch can we realistically buff out? Anybody with experience--and before & after photos, to show-and-tell us what he did?

Realistically if you can feel the scratch as you run your fingernail across it , it will not buff out. A marring of the paint will buff out but a true scratch will not without some wet sanding first. Wet sanding and buffing of that type usually requires experience and finesse to get a quality result or it can easily go south making it worse.
