Deals on extended warranties?

Lord only knows when I'll get my Bronco but it's never too early to plan ahead. Does anyone have a dealership contact that would be willing to sell Ford extended warranties at a deep discount? I belong to a 4Runner forum and there is someone on there that hooks members up with a dealership contact that sells Toyota warranties at a deep discount. They're not making much on each plan at the price they offer but I'm guessing they make it up on sheer volume. I recently got a Toyota Platinum, zero deductible, bumper to bumper, 5 year/100K warranty for $665. How could I refuse? It would be great if we found someone that could hook forum members up with similar type deals. Some dealerships want thousands of dollars for these same warranties.

Floodford and Zeigler both are great retail sellers of the Ford ESP for cheap. They give quotes on their website and are both legit dealers.

Granger just announced they are going to go low ball on the extended warranty plans.

I plan to keep my Bronco for a while but will wait a couple of years and see how the reliability is and until the factory warranty nears expiration and make my decision on whether an extended warranty is a good financial decision.

Those are all third party scam warranty companies. I'm talking about the manufacturer sponsored extended warranties. You'll find different prices at different dealerships as they can mark them up as much as they want.

Back 20 years ago when I last bought a Ford I would get the extended warranty from a dealer selling them for $100 over cost in TX. I live in CA and it worked great. At that price it was a decent value and I came out ahead on my last Expedition because of several expensive repairs. It also helped when I sold the Expedition since the new owner knew they were covered for 2 years. If I ever get my Bronco from Granger (not their fault as Ford is screwing them) I'll get the longest extended warranty I can. It will be nice if I can get it all together with the purchase.

Just want to throw this out there that the longer you wait and the more miles on the vehicle when you purchase an extended warranty the price does go up from what I see.

Does it? So if you purchase with 1000 miles on the car, it's less than if it has 10k even though it's still under factory warranty? It isn't that way with Toyota. Same price as long as it's within the 3/36 initial warranty.

I tried a few variables. It seems that the mileage doesn't matter, as long as it is still under 36K miles. Its the time since in service date. If you are beyond the first 12 months of factory warranty, but still less than 36 months/36K miles, the price goes up by $100. As an example, I entered a 2021 Bronco with 1000 miles and said it was still within the first 12 months of service. Price for a 4 year/85K mile, $100 deductible was $1120. Entered the same Bronco, same 1000 miles but said it was beyond the first 12 months of service but less than 36 months service and the price went up by $100 to $1220. Seems to be a straight $100 increase once the vehicle is past 12 months in service but still within the 36K mile warranty. So I guess you'll need to buy an extended warranty within the first year for the best price. I'm guessing you'd be able to get your local dealer to match these prices.

That is good to know. I thought when I was playing with numbers it charged me more when I put in 1k miles vs when I put 250 miles for some reason. I asked my dealer to match Flood Ford and they laughed and said no so I ordered from Flood Ford right away and had great experience with them. Showed up on My Ford Pass app the next day.

I would like to have an extended warranty, but don't want to finance it. I'd like to drop as much as I can on the deposit to keep my monthly payments low. Ideally, I would like to find a decent price for the extended service plan within the first year of ownership, but pay for it in cash. Either way, I'm pretty sure I will be getting an extended warranty.
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

My apologies, there appears to be different pricing for different states. Below is an example of the quotes I received for Indiana residents.

I believe you are mistaken.
Wow! I don't know how you came up with that $1155 price from Flood. I just did it again and it came up $1655. 2021 Bronco, 1000 miles, under 12 months in service, no add ons, $100 deductable, 5yr/100K. Could it, perhaps, be based on location? It asks your state. I'm in Rhode Island. Try entering RI as your location and see if you get a $1655 price.

Yup. I just entered my location as North Carolina and it came up $1155. Rhode Island is $1655. That's a pretty big difference. As Flood Ford is in RI, I guess they stick it to the locals? Why should it matter what state you're in? Is a part more apt to fail in a particular state?

Negative. And I actually went through Flood Ford ESP for the bronco but in past have used Ziegler ESP. Never bought a vehicle from their dealer though since I have a guy at another dealer I always purchase all my Ford's from.

EDIT: Forgot to mention for me Flood Ford was $120 cheaper than Ziegler. That's why it's best to check both places to see who has best quote since both are certified ford warranties.

Ziegler quoted me $3,400 for the extended warranty and $2,000 for their Zguard ceramic coating and interior protection warranty.

I ended up getting my bronco from one of their dealerships in Michigan, but it was a struggle to get it at the price they promised me. I’ll just say bait & switch.
