Hi folks - any thoughts on how to power a dash cam for a manual mirror- can I use one of the upfitter switches? (would need to reduce the voltage). Thanks

1) does your dash cam run on less than 12 volts????

2) If power is not run to the location you want... You will need to run power to that location.

3)You could get away with using an upfitter switch.... But why? Tie to a power lead that cycles with the retained accessory power. At least that would be my approach... (actually it was)...
