Anyone have this happen to them?
We were running errands (top off) and I used the global window down on the key fob then I remote started the Bronco, when we got to our next stop I was rolling up the front windows and the passenger side would roll up about 90% then just roll down and I couldn't stop it from rolling down. It did this three times that day. Is this an issue with the Global window? this was the first time I have used it.

Hi there. Can you send us a direct message with more information? I’ll see how I can assist on my end.

I’ve had that happen a couple times. Same window. I cannot say (don’t remember) the specific scenarios or sequence of events leading up to it. It seemed to me as if the window bind or hit something (of which neither occurred) and rolled back down. Kind of like a garbage door closing and hits an obstacle and goes back up.

Yeah that is exactly it. After the third time it did it that day I figured it had to do with the global down. I tried it on last time on the way home and just remote started it then rolled the windows down normally when I got home and pulled it into the garage they rolled up as usual.

Again, same thing. After 3-4 attempts mine has always closed. I have a 2023 and it’s happened 2-3 times, so once around once a year. I don’t think it has anything to do with global down cause I use that all the time. Perhaps global warming??? 🤔

well this is not what it is doing exactly. the window operates as normal with the indexing as you open and close it. it is just when I close the windows after a drive the passenger window rolls up 90% of the way then automatically rolls all the way down. I then have to roll it up again, but it has only happened to me when I global down the windows, every other time all windows work as usual. I guess I can give this a try and see if it helps. this is not really an issue since it only does it the on the first roll up just curious if anyone else had this happen.

Worth a try! My passenger window would roll up, then immediately down again, but continued doing that, until I did this reset. Happened when I had the top off, and windows down for like 2 weeks.

Same thing happened to me 3 or 4 times. Took to different dealers and they said it was my fault that I must have hit the window button and put in programming mode! But it happened every time I used global down. Like you it was the same window each time.
My solution is to not use the global down! Not the best solution but beats going back to dealer to tell me that I broke it!!
Also, for me the window fix would not work as the window would not go all the way up.

Yeah I am not sweating it really as I don't use the global down. One other thing I learned is you have to do the global down before you remote start it doesn't work the other way around.

I havent seen that issue but I know I have to reset the auto up on passenger side at least once a month.

Seems like some folks have to do it more than others. I have only had reset the windows one time, knock on wood, this doesn’t seem to need resetting or at least that didn’t help.
